Hello all you dancers,
Great night tonight despite the fact that we only had 10 people. We welcomed back Carmen and Marisa and Tom. Also, Sharon and Lia were back with the usual keen ones: Raul, Michael, Clare, Duncan and Stephanie. We drew lots to determine which dances we would do and managed most of them quite well. Hopefully we will have a few more of you back next week.
Warmest regards
Stephanie
Hello All,Thanks Stephanie! Yes, we had a great night with lots of dancing !!! We started with Kokomo with the help of Jayne's tutorial video; then Waka Waka with Marisabel's coaching; then Valle Pogonishte, Cocek, One Singular Sensation with Michael's coaching; then Entre a mi Pago Sin Golpear (Chacarera) with Raul's coaching. We even had time to do La Bicilcleta (no video tutorial, just song!); Mueve el Bum Bum with Marisabel's coaching again; and our favourite Jerusalema. Clare and I managed to practice the choreography to This is Me! a couple of times at the end of the session, to try to refresh our memory. We will do it with the group next week. Well done everyone !!! We did not get to talk about the “Singing for Health” new initiative, to build a choir with group members and sing together. I got a few members interested in this, but a few suggested that to do it after the dance sessions might make the evenings long and we'd end very late (specially bad in winter). So, I will be sending some info to the group, with some info and tutorials I found to help us get ready to launch “Singing for Health”. In a few weeks after doing some tutorials, I'd confirm who is keen to do it and we could determine when and how. Hope that's OK with everyone.Have a wonderful week, and see you Monday next week for another great dance session together.RaulOn Mon, 12 Apr 2021 at 21:34, <[email protected]> wrote:
