Hello All:
The COVID situation in NSW is not looking good.
Just to be on the safe side let's implement the controls we've had within our group when things were tough for our Monday session (Mon 28th June):
– please remember to register using our QR when arriving and checking-out when leaving
– back to social distancing guys, that means no hugs (I'll have the toughest time with that, I'm a hugger) and no handshakes (elbow-shakes are back!)
– when singing, let's make sure our chairs have the 1.5m distancing needed back/front/sides please
– if things stay the same, we will not need masks to dance but if things get worse between now and Monday we might need to implement that back (please bring your masks just in case)
Let's still have a great time guys, if all goes well and this outbreak is controlled, the next class things will be fine again (Mon 5th July) !!!
Now talking about our session on Monday 5th July … I will be out of town on holiday on that day. Michael will be here to bring speaker and other trimmings to the session; Stephanie and Duncan are very familiar with the Bomo Community Hall as they danced there for years so I could leave the key to the hall with them to open and close on that evening. We can discuss that with the group next week at the session.
We should be back to the Annex from Monday 12th July, but I'll double check with the council and let the team know.
