Hello All,
I went for another bushwalk today, this time to Kangaroo Valley.
Just drove into town, then took a left on Mt Scanzi Road and drove it until the intersection with Tallowa Dam Road, turned right into Tallowa Dam Road and drove until the start of the Kangaroo Valley Fire Trail. There is plenty of space to park cars at the start of the trail.
The walk down is easy, with only a few steep areas, mostly just easily walking down. There is an area in the middle of the walk with amazing huge rock boulders on both sides, some carved with caves; and also an area with amazing views of the Kangaroo River below. When you get all the way down, there is a beautiful rocky point over the water, and wonderful views of water almost 360 degrees around you.
The walk back up is a lot tougher but not too bad, I did it in one go without breaks, and I felt it at the end but if you take a few breaks then you'll be fine. It's only 240m up. The track is 3.5km each way, and makes up for 7km of great exercise! Weather was perfect today, sunny and hot with no winds there; and the place is full of flowers of course !!
Spring is blooming everywhere !! Don't let it go, and get outside, enjoy the beauties we have around us in the Shoalhaven !! Look forward to hear about your adventures, please share them with the group !!!
Hugs & kisses,
Raul

Hello Raul – those photos are really amazing! I enjoy all your activity reports. I have been over to Shoalhaven Heads a few times for walks along the river and towards the opening of the surf to the river. The beach is closed as the high sand cliff is too dangerous. Stay safe and healthy.
