It's been a while !! Hope you are all well, safe and healthy, and ready to get started back with some dancing with the group soon.
It is confirmed that the NSW government will lift some of the lockdown restrictions from Mon 11th Oct (70% fully vaccinated), which might allow us to get back to the Annex for some dancing. I have asked the council if we could get back to the Annex on Monday, observing all necessary restrictions, but have not heard back yet. When I hear back I will let the team know.
My understanding is that from this Monday fully vaccinated members of the community will be able to attend dance classes (max 20 in the Annex due to 1 person per 4 sqm), if wearing masks all the time indoors, and observing social distancing (no hugs, no handshakes, etc). That's what I am waiting for the council to confirm.
Later in the month, some of these rules could be eased more when NSW reaches 80% fully vaccinated (e.g. masks, social distancing), but still only available to fully vaccinated. Finally, from 1st December or perhaps sooner, ALL members of the community (vaccinated or not) will see most restrictions lifted so that we'll get back to life as normal as possible in the new post-COVID world.
