GREAT PARTY – THANKS !!! also, update on DONATION

Posted on December 17, 2021December 17, 2021 By Dance Therapy Group 5 Comments on GREAT PARTY – THANKS !!! also, update on DONATION
Hello All,

Thanks so much for joining our XMAS dinner party last night. We did not get to dance, we did not have the time !!! We were having so much fun eating, drinking, playing the gift exchange game, and laughing; that by the time we could have done some dance it was too late and we had to go. We had a great time !! Thanks also for the beautiful OSCAR award you presented me with, I understand Lia had a lot to do with that, so I send a special thanks to Lia too who could not be at the dinner.

We had 24 attendees to the dinner last night, they were: Alison Bowe & Andrew Bowe, Carolyn McCarthy & Peter McCarthy, Cathy Hooten & Tony Hooten, Clare Nowak, Carmen Mazzaferro & Reinaldo Mazzaferro, Deidre Reid, Kay Morrison & Raymond Martin, Maria Marquina & Lira Rey, Marisabel Salerno, Marta Peña, Sharon Levitt & Viviann Levitt, Stephanie Marshall & Duncan Marshall, Sue Davies & Colin Bell, Michael Irving & Raul Arregui. Melva Turner was planning to join us, but she had a last minute health issue and had to stay home to recover. She has just replied to an SMS from me, and she's recovering well at home.
As discussed, we are keeping the email and the website open and going; in the new year the system will send us all a reminder to plan our 1st event or activity of 2022. We can then discuss with the group what to do, where and start. I am sure we'll be going many things together as we have such a wonderful group.
Finally, Stephanie provided me with the funds left in the kitty ($300) which we will be donating to the Homeless Hub in Nowra. I contacted the hub today, left a message with them to tell me what's the best way to make a donation that will go directly to those in need. I told them we want to make the donation next week, and to please contact me ASAP. Once I hear from them, I'll share the group. Here is the hub donation info in their website: Donations – SAHSSI
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and that we ALL have a better year in 2022 than what we've had the last 2 years .. we can only hope, and stay optimistic !!
Hugs & kisses,
Raul

Hi AllGlad to read you all had a fab night. No doubt a night full of fun and laughter. Raul, once again my heartfelt thanks for your dedication and passion for anything dance. It’s been a great 3 years! All the very best wishes to all for the festive season and may 2022 be a better year than 2021 and filled with health and happiness. Here in the mountains it nearly felt like a European winter yesterday, cold, wet and stormy. We we’re tempted to light the fire but resisted and enjoyed the day wrapped up under a throw watching some movies. Love Lia x
