We had our 2nd dance practice last night, and it went very well.
We had a lean but very switched on team last night: Alison, Bev, Kay, Sue H., Suzi, Peg, Michael & Raul. It was Kay's first try at the dances, and she did great last night. Teresa, Melva and Sharon contacted me before the practice to let me know they could not make it last night, but they'll be there next week.
Masters Suzi and Peg refreshed our memories of Gorani and Valle Pogonishte, and we danced to those choreographies very well. Then I refreshed the team on the Zorba steps we practiced last week, and then added the few missing steps to complete the dance. We rehearsed it a couple of times end to end and we looked great !! Well done everyone !! Margarita will be so proud of us !!
We confirmed the event details: Saturday 18th March 2pm at Harry Sawkins Park in Nowra (near the council building).
We went to dinner after the practice to Amphora, Cathy joined us for dinner as she could make the time of the practice. We had a wonderful unexpected visit while at Amphora: our amazing “T” came to say HI for a few minutes, and they returned to Elephant Thai as they were working there.
It was a great night. Let's repeat it next week guys.
