Hello Dancers:
We had a great night once again with those who were able to come in today.
Attendees were 14 today: Col & Sue D., Doris*, Erika, Jayne, Melva, Peg & Suzi, Sarah*, Sharon, Sue H., Teresa, Michael & Raul

We were unable to continue with FELICES LOS 4 ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/1607/91/felices-los-4-zumba-tutorial.mp4 ) today due to the lack of power boards and extension cords. I used mine during my party, and I left them at EL HORSES. Note to myself: I need to get them back before next week's session!
We danced the following choreographies today (tutorial videos from our website in brackets below)
- LA BICICLETA ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/1607/91/la-bicicleta-zumba-tutorial.mp4 ) – Warm up dance, went straight to 100% speed
- DANCING ON WATER ( https://arregui.net/2023/05/08/dancing-on-water/ ) – Peg's beautiful new dance (he taught us the dance!)
- JERUSALEMA ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/1608/33/jerusalema-kizomba-tutorial-raul.mp4 ) – Another group's favourite, good for ANY dance song (Michael & I used it for a disco tune at Barron Hanson's dance party, it worked!)
- MEN IN BLACK ( https://arregui.net/2023/04/30/men-in-black-dance-choreography-thanks-sue-davis/ ) – Sue D.'s beautiful new dance (she picked it!)
- VALLE POGONISHTE ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/valle-pogonishte-albanian-tutorial-peg.mp4 ) – Peg's choreography, but it is Sharon's favourite and she asked for it
- WAKA WAKA ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/1608/35/waka-waka-latin-pop-tutorial-marisabel.mp4 ) – Marisabel's old choreography, still one of the favorites by the team
- GORANI ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/gorani-armenian-tutorial-suzi.mp4 ) – Suzi's choreography, tried the new version of the song but not as good, danced it 2nd time to the old version and it was much better!
- ENTRA A MI PAGO SIN GOLPEAR ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/1608/39/entra-a-mi-pago-sin-golpear-chacarera-tutorial-raul.mp4 ) – Argentine Chacarera, dance at my 60th party a few weeks back, easier to remember as I call the steps to the team
- LA BICICLETA ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/1607/91/la-bicicleta-zumba-tutorial.mp4 ) – Once again, to close the evening on a big high
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Teresa offered to organise a fundraiser for CANCER RESEARCH at one of our Monday dance sessions – She offered to provide the food. We should invite everyone to attend (old group members, other friends and family members, etc). wear PINK to celebrate CANCER SURVIVORS, dance all night, have great fun and donate funds to CANCER RESEARCH. Everyone there tonight was happy to do it! Teresa will tell us the best Monday to do that, and more details will be provided closer to that date. Stay tuned!
