Hello Dancers:
We had ten (10) members of the group at today’s dance session: Carolyn & Peter, Erika, Jayne, Peg, Sharon, Sue, Suzi and Michael & Raul.
Before we launched the session, I informed all attendees that Col was in the hospital but that Sue had just informed me his condition was improving, which is great news. We all wish Col a speedy recovery, and look forward to seeing them both Sue and Col back with us soon !!!
We started with our traditional warm-up choreography LA BICICLETA ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/1607/91/la-bicicleta-zumba-tutorial.mp4 ), then Peg’s DANCING ON WATER ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dancing-on-water-dance-tutorial.mp4 ), then Sue D.’s MEN IN BLACK ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/men-in-black-dance-choreography-tutorial.mp4 ), and then started with a new choreography under Jayne’s leadership named WITCHES DANCE ( https://arregui.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/witches-dance-choreography-tutorial-jayne.mp4 ).
In between choreographies we discussed the offer we received from the SHOALHAVEN RIVER FESTIVAL committee to perform at this years’ festival (Oct 1st and 2nd). The team decided not to perform at this year’s festival, mainly as Raul will not be available to coordinate practices and the performance (Michael and Raul will leave for Argentina on 12th Sep). Raul will inform Suzanne Hammond-Warne from the festival asap.
A few attendees today were wearing PINK as they got the days confused. The PINK LADY DAY EVENT to raise funds for Cancer research, organised by Teresa, will be Monday next week (Mon 3rd July 5pm at the ANNEX). Remember to wear pink then, bring something to drink, invite friends and family who want to join us, bring some $$$ to contribute to the cause, and get ready for a great night of fun.
