DANCE SESSION #12 – Mon 31st Aug 5pm at the ANNEX

We had a great dance session today. 

We were ten (10): Bev, Col & Sue D., Jayne, Lia, Melva, Nina, Sue H., Teresa and Raul. 

Michael sent his apologies, he had to stay home with a sore foot from a bushwalk yesterday. Carolyn and Peter were on grandparent duties and could not come today. Also, Erika called to let me know she won't be able to continue to come to the dance sessions as she needs to rest on Monday evening after work (sorry Erika!). She did commit to join our parties, and she'll stay in the email list.

We started with LA BICICLETA (zumba) and MEN IN BLACK (line dancing) to warm up. After that, we tried FELICES LOS 4 again (zumba) and I think we did better than last week !!! well done everyone, and I have no doubt by next week, we'll have it totally under control. 

Then, Nina taught us again the choreography to COTTON EYE JOE, and we mastered it too. It's so much fun! Thanks so much Nina! 

We also danced Jayne's new Hawaiian choreography to WICKED GAME (Chris Isaak). I think we did very well too! Thanks so much Jayne!

Then, we danced a few more classics: DANCING ON WATER (circle), WAKA WAKA (afro-latin soca), and YOU SHOULD BE DANCING (disco). All great!

Next week, we will have a new choreography that Jayne and I will be researching this week: THE BUS STOP (disco – but the original one!).
