Hello Dancers:
We had a great session last Monday and I forgot to send the update until now! Sorry guys!
Attendees were: Bev, Col & Sue D., Jayne, Melva, Peg & Suzi, Sue H., T (a.k.a. Tina) and Raul (10)
YES, we got our wonderful T back in the group !!!! She was welcomed by the group with big excitement.
We started with LA BICICLETA (zumba), JERUSALEMA (Kizomba Zulu) and PEARLY SHELLS (Hawaiian) to warm up the engines.
Then, proceeded to practice our new choreographies: FELICES LOS 4 (zumba), and the newest one of all: DO THE BUS STOP (disco line dance; Thanks Jayne!).
We have FELICES LOS 4 down guys! I think one more practice next week and it'll become our warm up track replacing LA BICICLETA! And DO THE BUS STOP is a great addition too, so much fun, and so easy. I think we learned it in just one session, which also speaks about our dance abilities guys! Well done!
After that, we went back to do a few oldies with MEN IN BLACK (pop line dance), DANCING ON WATER (Jewish circle dance), COTTON EYE JOE (Country-group dance – Thanks Nina!) VALLE POGONISHTE (Albanian circle dance), COCEK (Gypsy folk dance), HUKILAU (Hawaiian) and finished with WAKA WAKA (Afro-fusion Soca). Great night!
