Hello Dancers:
We had another wonderful dance session tonight! We were ten (10): Alison, Bev, Clare, Helen, James, Michael, Peg, Sue, Suzi and Raul. YES! Helen Cromb joined us tonight as a guest, but I think she loved it and hope she’ll rejoin us to continue to dance with us!
We danced many choreographies: La Bicicleta, Gorani, Dancing on Water, Dabke, Shivers, Waka Waka, Men in Black, Jerusalema, Valle Pogonishte, and Pearly Shells.
We’ve decided we are ready to start to work on 2 new choreographies from next week: SESERE EEYE (Torres Strait traditional song and dance) and CALM DOWN (Nigerian Afropop dance). Also, it is time we have a PARTY !!! Two of our dear dance mates PEG and JAMES will be celebrating birthdays by the end of May, so let’s plan a big party to celebrate their special days, and to have fun and DANCE !!! The date could be Mon 20th May or Mon 27th May, James and Peg will chat to decide on the best date and on a party THEME and DRESS CODE. I hope they’ll have a decision by Monday next week (Mon 15th Apr), we’ll see. As usual, we’ll bring food and drinks to the ANNEX to eat, drink, dance and have great fun with friends. More on this next week !!!
