DANCE SESSION Mon 15th Jul 4:30pm-6:30pm

Hello Dancers:

We had another great night of dancing with the gang tonight! We were nine (9) dancers: Alison, Helen, James, Jill (new member of the group! welcome to the team Jill!), Michael, Peg, Suzi, Tina and Raul.

We started with LA BICICLETA (Zumba) to warm up, and proceeded to continue with SHIVERS (Line Dance) as requested by Peg. After that, we refreshed our memories on the 2 new choreographies from last term: SESERE-EEYE (Torres Strait) and CALM DOWN (Hip Hop). We had a good go at both, and will continue working with them next week!

Then, Peg taught us his new choreography CINE ARE NOROC ARE (Romanian Circle Dance) and we did very well to dance it to music first time! The tutorial and song are now loaded in the website for the group to practice, and we’ll continue next week.

Then, to celebrate Argentina’s win on the Americas Cup earlier today, we danced ENTRE A MI PAGO SIN GOLPEAR (Argentinian Chacarera) and we finished with WAKA WAKA as requested by Tina. What a night !!!

Next week, we’ll do again SESERE-EEYE and CALM DOWN, and then dive into CINE ARE NOROC ARE with Peg. Then, we will start again working on the RUEDA DE CASINO (Salsa Circle Dance) to the song LA VIDA ES UN CARNAVAL.
