Hello Dear Dancers:
We had another great dance session last Monday.
Attendees were eleven (11) : Alison, Bev, Clare, Helen, Lia, Larrisa (with Danielle), Michael, Peg, Sue, Suzi and Raul.
And, YES! Lia is back with us! We were so happy to have her back dancing with us!
We danced: La Bicicleta (Zumba), Men In Black (Line Dance), Sesere Eeye (Torres Strait), Calm Down (Hip Hop), Cine are noroc are (Roma Circular Dance), Dancing on Water (Jewish Circular Dance), Maniac (Flashdance – welln we just tried it as we’re still looking for a full tutorial), Dabke (Palestinian Circular Dance), Shivers (Line Dance).
Remember that all the choreographies have tutorials in the website, and the songs are also there:
We completed the CALM DOWN choreography, and danced it several times to the song at 80% speed (100% is just too fast!). Well done guys!
We loved MANIAC from Flashdance, so we will try to come up with the steps to complete the choreography and then perhaps we could start with it next week.
Look forward to next week: keep going with CALM DOWN, perhaps start with MANIAC, and how about we re-start an old one: RUEDA DE CASINO (Salsa)? I think that’d be just wonderful. See you next week.
