   I have been contacted by the organisers of a HARMONY WEEK EVENT that is scheduled for Saturday 29th March 2025 at EL HORSES in Nowra, from 3pm to 5:30pm. They are gathering interest from community groups to participate in the event with a performance of something multicultural. They contacted me because I am part of a dance group from the Argentinian community (named Abrazo Pampa). They asked if we wanted to do some Argentinian dance at their event.I told them we have not danced with the group in years, many member have moved on and I am not sure we can get the whole group together anyway, however I told them our Dance Therapy Group could dance an Argentinian choreography, and that we can also do African, Albanian, Armenian, Disco, Greek, Hawaiian, Hip Hop, Jazz, Jewish, Line Dance, Palestinian, Pop, etc.I told them first that I would consult with our group, if the majority agrees then they could see the possibility for us to dance there and pick the choreographies they are interested in us doing (we don't want to dance choreographies from national groups already represented and dancing). Then, we could practice the choreographies from the start next year to get ready for the show.I'd like to hear from group members about this please.
