Hello everyone I was just thinking everyone one mostly on Christmas holidays and I thought everyone would probably come back to Work seventh 14th of January so I was thinking if everyone can that even the first Monday or the second Monday
we all meet at the hall and then go down to the Mandalay and maybe we have a picnic dinner like a barbecue or something down thereand maybe take some music and we can do some dancing so let me know what you think and I’ll work around itThank you everyone! It has been great fun, and an especial thank you to Raul, for doing so much work to put it together.

It was a very hot evening but that does not stop us from having a great time!
We almost had a full house, with 22 of us present at the party: Alison, Clancy, Dan, Banjo, Wren, Helen, James, Jayne, Kathy, Lou, Larrissa, Lisbeth, Marge, Max, Melva, Michael, Pam, Peg, Suzi, Teresa, Tina and Raul.
The party started with lots of chatting and eating, there were many delicious dishes to share, thanks everyone! After that, I had a short formal presentation about our achievements of 2024. I've attached the presentation to this email.
Then we presented members of the group with tokens of appreciation for special contribution made to our group. A huge THANKS goes to:
- 2024 Dance Instructors: Clare – Maniac, Larrissa – Elvira, Peg – Cine Are Noroc Are, Sharon – Shivers; and Wren, Clancy, Dan and Banjo – The Pirate Dance
- 2024 Best Attendance (more than half the dance sessions and are not dance instructors): Michael (31 sessions), Alison (28 sessions), Suzi (28 sessions), James (24 sessions), Sue (23 sessions), Bev (18 sessions), Helen (17
sessions)
(Note: I have mugs for Clare, Sue, Bev and Helen at home – if I don't see you in the holiday break, I'll bring them to the 1st dance session in 2025)
After that, the dance started of course! We started with
THE PIRATE DANCE to start, and we made Wren very proud of us! We also danced
SHIVERS, CALM DOWN, MANIAC (FLASHDANCE), ELVIRA, CINE ARE NOROC ARE (BY NICOLAE GUTA), YOU SHOULD BE DANCING, WAKA-WAKA, PEARLY SHELLS.
That's all for 2024! Enjoy the break and remember our first dance of 2025 will be on Monday 3rd March.
