Hello Dancing Friends !!!
How are you all going? Hope all well !! I look forward to seeing many of you at Larrissa's event this Saturday 10am at the CAMBEWARRA MOUNTAIN LOOKOUT CAFE !!!
Just heard again from the Harmony Week event organisers, they confirmed they are looking forward to having our group dancing there and made a request that we please dance DANCING WITH WATER (Jewish), after dancing DABKE (Palestinian). They believe that will be welcome by all attendees, and in great spirit of “Harmony”.
They love us starting with CINE ARE NOROC ARE (Romanian) and then do the other 2 choreographies. They will allow us more time so that we can dance the 3 dances guys !!! That's wonderful !!! I hope you won't mind but I accepted their request from our team.
We will dance on Saturday 22nd March from 3pm to 6pm at EL HORSES. The event will be whole Harmony event with some food to share, coffee/tea, dances and songs from groups (like ours) and other activities. I've attached the poster of the event for your reference.
They require attendees to register, if you are able to attend, please register here ASAP:
Summarising, our dances on that event will be:
1) CINE ARE NOROC ARE
2) DABKE
3) DANCING WITH WATER
(Please, if you are not familiar with these dances, use the tutorials to practice at home)
We will only be able to practice during three (3) sessions: Monday 3rd March, Monday 10th March and Monday 17th March – but we've danced them many times and I hope we'll have an easy time to get ready for the event. We can discuss what to wear during the performance when we meet on March 3rd.
Look forward to seeing you on Monday March 3rd 4:30pm, to start dancing again from 5pm !!!
