Hello Dance Therapy Group friends:

We had another great dance night last evening! We were 17 regulars: Alison, Courtney, Erfan, Julie, Josie, Zanthi, Larrissa, Dave, Laura, Michael, Pam, Peg, Sue, Suzi, Teresa, T and Raul – plus 4 guests !! 21 all together, some kinda record !!!

And we danced 12 choreographies (and a few of them twice!): BAILANDO BACHATA, CALM DOWN, CINE ARE NOROC ARE, ELVIRA, ENTRA A MI PAGO SIN GOLPEAR, JERUSALEMA, MANIAC, PEARLY SHELLS, SHIVERS, THE PIRATE DANCE, VALLE POGONISHTE, and the WAKA-WAKA.

Yes! we did BAILANDO BACHATA first time, with Teresa's direction and using the video tutorial at 80% speed, it worked well and we'll do it again and again a few more sessions until we got it totally ! A huge THANKS to Teresa !!!

PLEASE READ – IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO THE GROUP

I was able to request our ANNEX Annual Booking for 2026. We will have 51 weeks from 5th January to 23rd Dec (see first attachment). The booking request is PENDING at this point, and it is from 5pm to 7pm every Monday (we can access 4:45pm until 7:15pm). Hiring fees will be increasing for 2026, and thanks to our annual booking discount we only had to pay $1,387.20 ; we have $316.40 in the kitty from 2024, so we will only need to pay the balance of $1,070.80 — we have 28 paid members currently, if all member renew it will only be about $40pp for the 2026 dance year
Once I hear from council that our booking request is APPROVED, I will pay the $1,387.20 and will then inform the group so that members could pay back the $40pp 2026 membership fee – That should happen in the next few weeks, stay tuned !!!
I noticed I am missing a few paid membership forms for 2025. If you name is in this list here, could you please complete the attached 2025 membership form (use 2nd or 3rd attachments) and scan/email it back to me or bring it to the next dance session? List of missing form names: Alison, Bev, Clare, Erfan, Julie, Larrissa, Laura, Sue H., and Teresa (if your name is incorrectly in the list, my apologies but I cannot find your form so could you please do one again? thanks!)
