We had a great night with lots of dancing! We were 21: Clancy with Banjo & Wren, Courtney, Erfan & Laura, Jayne, Julie, Josie & Zanthi, Kathy, Lou, Lisbeth, Max, Michael, Peg, Sue, Suzi, Teresa and Raul.
Not only that, but we danced a total of 13 choreographies !!! Some kind of record !!! And 12 were classic ones: BAILANDO BACHATA, CINE ARE NOROC ARE, ELVIRA, LA BICICLETA, MANIAC, MEN IN BLACK, MURDER ON THE DANCEFLOOR, PATA-PATA, SHIVERS, THE PIRATE DANCE, WAKA-WAKA, YOU SHOULD BE DANCING ; and 1 new one:
ISLAND IN THE SUN (Hawaiian style) taught to us by Jayne (Huge THANKS Jayne!).As shared with the group there tonight, Michael and I will be taking a holiday for the next few weeks, and we will miss the dance sessions. Huge THANKS to Peg and Max for taking over the coordination of our group during those weeks, and keep our group dancing.
So far, we have 15 members who signed up for the 2026 season. If you haven't yet and are keen to join us:
