Hello All:
We had another great night of fun and dancing tonight ! We were nineteen (19) on the dance floor tonight: Bev, Courtney, Jayne, Julie, Denise, Josie & Zanthi, Kathy, Lou, Lisbeth, Max, Pam, Sue, Suzi & Peg, Telissa, Nick and Michael & Raul. Five of us met after the dance for dinner at the Australian Hotel, and continued the fun there!
We danced 12 choreographies: CALM DOWN, DI MURGULE DI, ISLAND IN THE SUN, JERUSALEMA, LA BICICLETA, MANIAC, MEN IN BLACK, MURDER ON THE DANCEFLOOR, SHIVERS, TAMOURE (WINI WINI), YA TABTAB, and YOU SHOULD BE DANCING.
Huge THANKS to Lou, Max, Jayne, Courtney and Peg for the dance tutoring tonight !!!

We only have 19 members who signed up for the 2026 season. If you haven't yet and are keen to join us:
- please complete and sign the attached membership enrolment form. You can complete it online (WORD and PDF formats attached) or print then complete, and either scan/email it back to me ([email protected]) or bring it to a dance session
- please deposit your $40 membership annual fee (all children 12yo and under are free) in the following bank account: BANK: WESTPAC – BRANCH: GORDON – BSB: 732083 – ACCT: 546781 – ACCT NAME: RAUL ARREGUI – IMPORTANT: please use your full name as transaction REFERENCE
We have a few new dancers who are group guests and are not receiving the emails as they are not in the mailing list. If they could send me their emails, I will be glad to add them, and perhaps they could join our 2026 season. If you know any of them please let them know and pass them my email (Raul Arregui [email protected] )
Two more points to share with the group before wrapping it up:
- We agreed to have dinner on the last Monday of September (29th) after our dance session, to be a farewell to Michael and me before our trip to Argentina – If you could join us, it'll be great!
- Michael and I will be out in Argentina from Sunday 5th October to Thursday 13th November. Peg and Max, with the help from the other dance instructors, will continue to run the dance sessions (Mondays 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th October; and Mondays 3rd and 10th November) – Huge THANKS to Peg, Max and to the other dance instructors for keeping our group dancing !!!
