Hello Dance Therapy Friends!
We had a great evening with lots of fun and dancing ! It is great to be back with the group ! A huge THANKS to Peg, Max and all the dance instructors for keeping the dance-flame alive ! It is wonderful to see new people in the group, and also new dances !
Tonight, we were 24: Alison, Clancy and Dan with Banjo & Wren, Courtney, Josie with Zanthi, Lou, Laura and Laura's son, Lisbeth, Max, Melva, Michael, Pam, Peg, Sue, Suzi, Telissa, T, Suzanne and Raul.
We danced 14 choreographies together: ENTRA A MI PAGO SIN GOLPEAR, GORANI, JERUSALEMA, LA BICICLETA, MANIAC, MEN IN BLACK, MURDER ON THE DANCEFLOOR, PEARLY SHELLS, SHIVERS, THE FLOWER DUET (FROM LAKME), THE PIRATE DANCE, WAKA-WAKA, YA TABTAB, and YOU SHOULD BE DANCING

At the end of the session, we talked about two important items:
- End of Year Party – Our party will be on Monday 15th December from 4:30pm at the ANNEX. Please, BYO a plate to share and whatever you want to drink. Then, we will eat, drink, celebrate 2025 and of course DANCE together. The party theme will be SUMMER DRESS CODE (eg. shorts, colourful shirts, hawaiian, swimmers, surf clothing, etc). We will be playing the WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EXCHANGE GAME (see instructions attached); if you want to participate bring a gift following the instructions.
- The last dance session of 2025 will be our End of Year Party (Mon 15th Dec), then we will stop sessions during the holiday season. Our first 2026 dance session will be on Monday 12th January at 5pm at the ANNEX.
About the 2026 season, we only have 20 members who signed and paid the 2026 membership. If you plan on joining the 2026 season, and haven't signed and paid yet:
- please complete and sign the attached membership enrolment form. Complete the WORD or PDF forms attached, and either scan/email it back to me ([email protected]) or bring it to a dance session
