   Hello Dance Therapy Group team:We had our session at the Bomaderry Community Centre tonight, and that hall is really a nice venue but next week we return to our “home” and we should be at the ANNEX for the rest of the year.We were 21 members dancing today: Clancy & Dan with Julie (Dan's Mum), Banjo & Wren, Courtney, Jayne, Julie, Lou, Laura, Max, Michael, Pam, Peg, Sue, Suzi, Teresa, Tina, Jenny, Jenny and Raul.We danced 10 choreographies: CINE ARE NOROC ARE, ELVIRA, LION KING CIRCLE OF LIFE, MANCHILD (SABRINA CARPENTER), MANIAC , MURDER ON THE DANCEFLOOR , PATA PATA , SHIVERS, WAKA WAKA, and YA TABTAB.Two of the choreographies we danced were brand-new ones: Max taught us the steps to MANCHILD, and Clancy & Dan taught us to dance LION KiNG CIRCLE OF LIFE. Both choreographies were great, and we will continue to work on them.    We have 2 birthdays in the team: Suzi who celebrated her birthday last week, and Alison who celebrates her birthday this week. So, to both of them:We discussed the performance at the upcoming HARMONY DAY event (Sat 21st March 1pm-5pm at the North Nowra Community Centre), and agreed to prepare 3 x songs to dance: PATA PATA, ELVIRA and GORANI – We need to practice the three every session from now and until the event. We will start with PATA PATA and ELVIRA, and if there is time (and the audience wants more) we can then do GORANI too. From next week, we'll be back at our beautiful ANNEX. I will not be there as I will still be recovering from surgery (tomorrow afternoon) but Peg and Max will be running the session, together with the other dance instructors. Thanks in advance to all of them for “keeping our group dancing”.I hope I can make it the following Monday (16th Feb), not to dance just yet but at least I will be there to catch up with everyone.Have a great week!
