DANCE SESSION Monday 4th May – Raul Arregui's Website

Hello Dance Therapy friends:

We had a great night, danced for almost 1.5 hour with little stops, well done team !! We were 21: Erfan, James, Jayne, Jenny, Karen, Laura, Lisbeth, Max, Pam, Peg, Shane, Sue, Suzanne, Suzi, Teresa, Tina, Luise, Bev, Sonia, Racquel and Raul.

We danced 16 choreographies: A TOUCH OF PARADISE, CINE ARE NOROC ARE, FIESTA TUNGUSIA, GOOD LUCK BABE, GORANI, HOEDOWN THROWDOWN, ISLAND IN THE SUN, LA BICICLETA, MAN, I FEEL LIKE A WOMAN (ELVIRA line dance steps), MANCHILD, MANIAC, MEN IN BLACK, MURDER ON THE DANCEFLOOR, SHIVERS, WAKA WAKA, and YOU SHOULD BE DANCING.

Monday next week (11th May), Michael and I will be driving back from the Gold Coast at the time of our dance session, so Peg & Max will be coordinating the dance session (Thanks Peg & Max!). I will be back Mon 18th May.

We have a few events we have been invited to attend:

Tina announced an event by JHQ Collective on Sunday 17th May (https://thejhq.com/) — Tina will send the invite with full details of the event via email ASAP
Laura told me that the Shoalhaven Baha'i Group will organise another event open to everyone in the community in May (https://www.facebook.com/ShoalhavenBahaiCommunity/) — Laura will send details to the group ASAP
The band Bonnie Kay and the Sweet Patooties will be performing at the Tomerong Hall on Fri 17th July — I've been told by the organisers that there's going to be a lot of dancing to their music, so I am passing the info. Tickets are $25+bf at South Coast Tickets (https://www.southcoasttickets.com.au/events/bonnie-kay-and-the-sweet-patooties-tour/) — we got our tickets already!
The Tomerong Hall will be celebrating their 100-Year Anniversary on Sat 17th October, they are working on the program for their event but one option they are considering is to invite us to do a FLASH MOB dance. I told them we'd love it, and they'll get back to me once they know more about the event program.

Hi fammmm @ dance therapy I’m reaching out to share a fundraiser event that Sara and Brock are hosting on Sunday, 17th May at Interchange Shoalhaven, Nowra, and we’d love your support. We’re hosting a Family Movement Workshop & Carnival Day filled with live DJs, movement experiences, pop-up markets, creative barbers, coffee, ice cream, and fun activities for the whole community. We encourage you to bring your children, family, and friends along for a fun day out. There are also a limited number of pop-up stall spaces available for small businesses or vendors, with a $20 donation to Sara’s fundraising page to secure a spot.
