   Hello Dancers:We had a great session tonight, and we started with FELICES LOS 4 (zumba choreography), great progress as we had that choreography in the radar for weeks but did not get to it. We had 15 attendees today : Bev, Carolyn & Peter, Col & Sue D., Erika, Jayne, Lia, Nina, Sharon, Sue H., Suzi, Teresa, Michael & Raul .We started with LA BICICLETA, then MEN IN BLACK, then DANCING ON WATER, and then proceeded to start FELICES LOS 4. The choreography has 8 step groups (A to H) and we went through them all, to finish the whole choreography we only need to repeat some of those step groups again. Well done everyone !!! It's a tough one, but I think we'll have it fully under control next Monday. After that, it's practice, practice, practice to get it right. Nina was there today, and I forgot to ask her to please do that choreography again with the group. We had so much fun the first time Nina taught it to us, I hope Nina will join us next week and please dont let me forget to dance it !!!!!IMPORTANT: We started the discussion about options for dance sessions post Mon 11th Sep. On Tue 12th Sep Michael and Raul will leave for a 4 month holiday to Argentina. Options for the team are:to extend the ANNEX booking and continue if someone in the group wants to keep coordinating the dance sessions in my absence; orto stop this term after a huge party on Mon 11th Sep; and to restart from January 2024. A few group members expressed interest in booking the ANNEX for the whole year of 2024. If we do that we might get a 50% discount as we'd have a permanent booking. If the team decides to do that, early Nov we should send an expression of interest to the council to book the ANNEX for the whole 2024. We currently have 25 paid members, currently we pay $12/hr for the ANNEX with 2 hours minimum, if we get 50% discount in 2024, it'd cost us $624 for 52 weeks at $6/ph (TBC)
